The Patriot

The Patriot reads between the lines
deciphering truth from lies,
Waving with pride our American flag
lest freedom and country dies.

Deceptions no longer shall rule us all
our victory is at hand,
Prayers are heard from righteous hearts
strength echoes across the land.

Freedom from invisible chains
unshackled from mind and soul,
Gods children finally released from fear
once fractured becoming whole.

Liberty shall grow and reach all lands
our healing about to begin.
Outstretched hands unite us all
each is the other’s kin.

Look to the heavens and give thanks
for bravery stands deep in the fight,
Come out of darkness, bring others along
Patriots banishing blight.
