WHY RAPID HOME ANTIGEN TESTS ARE USELESS BUT WILL CREATED THE ILLUSION OF A NEW WAVE

Submitted by Harold Saive

The PCR and Rapid Antigen Tests DO NOT have FDA approval. They are released under EUA in “hopes” they will be beneficial but the description of the at-home rapid antigen test reveals they are more likely worse than the PCR test they replaced due to an epidemic of PCR false positives.

WARNING:  At least one version of the rapid antigen test  (BinaxNOW) should come with a HAZMAT WARNING.

Comment: Every positive test should be confirmed by a physician before it can be called a positive “case” but this diagnostic requirement has been waived in order that false positives can drive case numbers far higher than those who actually infected with SARS-CoV-2 as a constellation of symptoms called “Covid-19”.  Under this scenario, those with no symptoms will be called a “case” only because the test reported a false positive after false positive.

Contradictory and confusing excerpts from “How Accurate Are At-Home COVID Tests?”

“PCR tests are generally considered the most accurate type of test.”

“Rapid tests are less accurate than PCR tests, especially if you test with them when you do not have symptoms.”

“Where an antigen test is lacking is in testing asymptomatic people.”

“If you tested negative on a rapid home test but still have COVID symptoms, it’s a good idea to have a PCR test done as well.”

“PCR testing is the more accurate of the two tests in people with no symptoms, but it’s still possible to test too early with a PCR test.”

“PCR testing is recognized as the most accurate type of testing, but it’s not perfect. Sometimes, a person who is sick will continue to test positive even when they are no longer capable of spreading the virus.”
