THE WAR IN UKRAINE – 3/5/2022 – . According to French journalist Anne-Laure Bonnel, Ukraine’s military has bombed and shot at the Russian population in eastern Ukraine since 2014, when the West began the offensive phase of incorporating Ukraine into the EU and NATO. Up to 14,000 civilians may have been killed by the Ukrainian military in the past 8 years.
Bonnel has made headlines in both Russia and the Western media after she reported since 2015 from both sides in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. She has been accused of working for the Kremlin in Russia (just like NewsVoice), but has also been praised for her fearless and objective journalism when she reported directly from the war zone.
