While attempting to debunk Facebook posts claiming Will Smith’s slap was a staged Pfizer product promotion, Politifact actually confirmed the “Slap’ was a likely stunt to promote a Pfizer Alopecia product.

(1) Politifact revealed Pfizer as a “conflict-of interest” sponsor of the academy awards (2) They list 2 Pfizer drugs under development to treat Alopecia (ritlecitinib and etrasimod). (3) The only reason Politifact judged the rumors as false is due to their copy-cat policy relationship with Facebook. —
