The race was called days after Election Day due to counting mail-in ballots. Democrat Senator Mark Kelly, who filled John McCain’s seat in 2020, won in Arizona and Democrats will now hold a 50-49 majority in the Senate. Vice President Kamala Harris holds the tie-breaking vote.
