Collin County, TX – Attorneys Daniel Watkins, Michael Hamilton and Travis Miller announce the filing of a lawsuit on behalf of 3 PLAINTIFFS against B. BRAUN MEDICAL, INC. for damages for Religious Discrimination – Violation of Labor Code Section 21.051, et seq.; Religious Discrimination – Failure to Provide Reasonable Accommodation – Violation of Labor Code Section 21.108; and Retaliation – Violation of Labor Code Section 21.055.

This important lawsuit was filed on April 25, 2023. Each of the Plaintiffs requested a religious exemption from the Defendants’ Covid-19 “vaccination” policy as a reasonable accommodation for their sincerely held religious belief. In response, and in violation of the law, each of these employees received a blanket denial of their request and were fired. This blanket denial evidences an intentional disregard of their requests and a clear violation of the employees’ rights under state law. Defendants acted toward Plaintiffs with malice, oppression, fraud, and with willful and conscious disregard of Plaintiffs’ rights.
