“In a time of Universal Deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act!” (Orwell)
We live in a time of Universal Deceit! Orwell, who coined that phrase, and Huxley
were able to peer deep into the future with their insights from the 1930’s and 40’s
regarding the direction of humanity.
They and others could see that we as a species were vulnerable to losing our souls
and whatever else makes us unique by virtue of the impact of technology and its use
in fabricating a false reality.
They saw that the ability to shape consciousness through misinformation, propaganda
and outright lies using the techniques of modernity such as mass communication, drugs
and advances in technology (AI, robotics, nanotech) was the key to implementing total
control by whatever dark forces desired that role.
Contemporaneous with their writings was the era of NAZI Germany and Soviet Russia
that saw advanced societies become totalitarian tyrannies.
Fast forward to the present tense and we see the domination of suspect official narratives
pertaining to virtually every significant event of the Huxwellian Era. Whether it relates
to Covid, Climate Change, Iraq’s WMDs, JFK, UFOs, fires in Maui, Obama’s birth certificate, the Gulf of Tonkin attack or the results of the 2020 election, the ability of honest people to accurately discern the true outlines of these events remains elusive.
Trump’s reference to fake news helped propel him into the White House. The contours of
the legal charges against him are more Kafkaesque than compelling, at least for those who
retain a deep loyalty to the Orange Man, as well as those who are arguably more objective
including liberal commentators like Jonathan Turley and Glenn Greenwald.
To the extent the former president and others attempt to transcend the confusion by elevating the conversation and infusing it with “the truth”, they are committing the kind of revolutionary act Orwell referenced in his famous quote.
But with the airways now drenched with event after event that smack of suspect origins, it is incumbent upon all of us to become revolutionaries by searching deep within our souls for answers pertaining to these troubling accounts so we can arm ourselves as best as possible with the truth.
This is a task of enormous difficulty considering the unrelenting assault on our awareness by those in charge of the systems of information control such as the MSM and Big Tech.
Yet we are left with little choice despite the daunting nature of this challenge. It’s both a civic duty and a gesture towards sustaining our sanity.
I encourage all who read these words to seek out the truth as best as you can, confront those who thrive on lies and become revolutionaries in this time of Universal Deceit
