West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner, R, doubled down on his past claims of fraud in the 2020 president election and suggested the CIA was even involved.
“The election was stolen, and it was stolen by the CIA,” Warner said at a Thursday MetroNews-hosted debate for West Virginia gubernatorial candidates.
Warner is a vocal supporter of Trump and defender of his unfounded claims of widespread fraud being the reason for his election loss to Joe Biden.
To back up his claim, Warner cited Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg paying $400 million to organizations offering grants to help conduct the 2020 election under the COVID pandemic (Warner claims this was “tipping the scales”), as well as testimony by former Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency Mike Morrell.
