English musician Sting (Gordon Sumner) sold his winery Tenuta il Palagio in Tuscany to the family of Volodymyr Zelensky for €75 million, reports the Database Italia portal, which published documents from the cadastral service to confirm the sale.
Sting and his wife reportedly bought the dilapidated 16th century villa back in 1997 and then restored the villa and the land.
According to official documents from the Italian land registry, in June 2024, Gordon Sumner sold his wine estate in Tuscany. The new owner of Tenuta il Palagio became the Italian company San Tommaso SRL.
The company San Tommaso SRL is registered in Italy, but its owners are Ukrainian citizens Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena Zelenskaya, journalists report.

The portal writes that San Tommaso SRL appears on the list of assets of Volodymyr Zelensky; the company made headlines back in 2019, when Zelensky, then a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine, was never able to declare his villa in Forte dei Marmi.

In early June, Cypriot authorities announced that they were checking information that Volodymyr Zelensky owns a hotel in the northern part of the island, on the territory of the self-proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The Turkish portal Odatv.com initially wrote about Zelensky’s purchase of a hotel in the port city of Kyrenia. According to its information, the building belongs to Film Heritage Inc., a company registered in Belize, which in turn is owned by Zelensky.
This information was contained, in particular, in the so-called ‘Pandora Dossier’ , which was published by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
The article about the Zelensky hotel was published on the portal at noon on June 1, but on June 4 it was removed – instead, the message ’Page not found’ appeared.
