That’s what you’re doing. Sequence Of Events In Bangladesh:

1. On May 23, Sheikh Hasina stated that a ‘White Man’ made an offer that if she allowed a certain country to make a military airbase in Bangladesh, then she would have no problem.
2. On June 5, the High Court ordered the restoration of reservations and declared the government’s notification canceling reservations in government jobs in the year 2018 as illegal.
3. On July 1, thousands of students protested against the reservation quota for government jobs in Bangladesh.
4. On July 16, the protests took a turn for the violent and clashed with security officials. The clashes led to tear gas shelling, the firing of rubber bullets, and an internet shutdown which would go on to last 10 days
5.  On July 21, the Supreme Court ordered the scaling back of the quota system, reducing the quota from 30% to 5%. After this decision, the situation seemed like it would return to normalcy.
6. But on August 4, former Army chief General Ikbal Karim Bhuiyan urged the government to withdraw troops and condemned the killings during the protests last month. Army chief Waker-uz-Zaman also reiterated support for the protestors and stated that the armed forces “always stood by the people”.
7. On August 5, the ‘Long March To Dhaka’ was announced as anti-government protestors called for Sheikh Hasina’s resignation.
8. On August 5, shortly after the mass unrest, the Army Chief issued an Ultimatum to the PM that she resign in 45 minutes. PM Hasina resigned and left the country for an unknown destination.
9. US State Department Spokesperson: “We welcome the Interim Government”.
