New Zealand 3 quakes – Screwing around?

It is extremely unusual to have three such quakes, all in exactly the same place, and to add there has been only one quake in the South Island since 3.48 am yesterday Thursday morning.
Moderate earthquake (Yesterday)

- Depth: 9 km
- 10 km north of Kaikoura

Unnoticeable earthquake (6 minutes ago)

Awake this morning and felt the 2.30 ish one. It was 8.1 on the NZ sources. What caught my eye are images on fb observed from Napier which reminded me of the uncensored article describing the flashes. I’ll add the link. Going to add the images anyway:

As expected, M8.0+ earthquake activity has returned this week.
