Russia to “Test” Three “Satan-2” ICBM’s

Russia to “Test” Three “Satan-2” ICBM’s – 24 Nukes each – U.S. May Only Have TWO MINUTES WARNING if “Test” is actually an attack

Hal Turner Radio Show

Russia has announced that it will test three (3) of its new “Satan-2” Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM’s) later this year. But there is very real potential danger for the U.S.A. during such a “test” because the missiles have a Fractional Orbit Bombardment System (FOBS).

With this system, if the warheads deploy, the USA would only have TWO MINUTES WARNING; not enough time to get OUR missiles out of the silos.

Each Satan-2 ICBM (aka RS-28) has and 18,000KM range and is equipped with up to 24 hypersonic gliders designed to evade all enemy defenses.

The test is scheduled for this year and will include a launch at full range, 11,000 miles / 18,000KM.

The RS-28 is the most powerful nuke in the world.

Each RS-28 can carry 10 VERY large warheads (800 KT each), plus 16 smaller ones  OR up to 24 hypersonic boost-glide vehicles; each 400x more destructive than nukes dropped on Japan.

The RS-28 speculated trajectory for this test would be over the South Pole, completely immune to any current missile defense system.

However, US experts fear that it features a Fractional Orbital Bombardment (FOBS) capability; and this could spell complete disaster for the USA.

FOBS

The Fractional Orbit Bombardment System (FOBS) was a nuclear-weapons delivery system developed in the 1960s by the Soviet Union. One of the first Soviet efforts to use space to deliver weapons, FOBS envisioned launching nuclear warheads into low Earth orbit before bringing them down on their targets.

Like a kinetic bombardment system but with nuclear weapons, FOBS had several attractive qualities: it had no range limit, its flight path would not reveal the target location, and warheads could be directed to North America over the South Pole, evading detection by NORAD‘s north-facing early warning systems.

The maximum altitude would be around 150km. Energetically, this would require a launch vehicle powerful enough to be capable of putting the weapon ‘into orbit.’ However the orbit was only a fraction of a full orbit, not sustained, and so there would be much less need to control a precise orbit, or to maintain it long term.

Below is an image to try explaining how FOBS works, and why they will be so completely devastating to the United States.

From the launch site inside Russia, the ICBM is fired.   It climbs toward space.   HOWEVER, while it is on its way up, it drops one or more FOBS at about 150 miles up.

The USA does not have radar positioned in order to see if that takes place.

Even ship-bourne radar out in the Pacific Ocean off Russia’s coast, would not be able to see what __may__ be taking place as the ICBM climbs into the sky, because ships in the Pacific are too far away from interior Russia for ship radar to reach such a distance.

As the FOBS are deployed, they begins their own travel; perhaps in the same direction the ICBM was fired, but perhaps in some OTHER direction.   We won’t know and have no way of finding out, early enough to do anything about it.

So let’s presume the ICBM is fired northward toward what would be the USA on the other side of the world.  NORAD early warning radar faces north to catch missiles coming over the North pole.

That radar would see the ICBM at about 1200KM above the earth.  That radar alert is labeled RADAR-Detection-1 on the image below. (But the radar would NOT know that earlier, the same ICBM deployed its FOBS!)

So while the radar watching the ICBM indicates the missile is harmlessly traveling in space, little do we know that the FOBS are ALSO traveling, but at a much lower orbit.

The NORAD radar picks up the ICBM earlier because of its altitude.  But that same radar cannot see the incoming FOBS which are at a very much lower orbit.

On the image below, the point at which the NORAD radar would detect the FOBS is very much closer to the USA, and is labeled “Radar-Detection-2” on the (click image to enlarge) image below:

As you can see, while Radar-Detection-1 would give the USA time to react, Radar-Detection-2 does not.

At the earliest interception point for the FOBS, the United States of America would only have TWO MINUTES WARNING that the FOBS had been deployed and were coming-in to bomb our missile silos, decapitating our national defense before we could do anything at all about it.

IT GETS WORSE

Let’s presume for a moment that the missiles are “test-launched” toward the SOUTH Pole as described in Russia’s announcement.  Let’s also assume they deploy the FOBS at about 150 miles up.

As before, we do not have radar capable of knowing the FOBS are on their way.   But this time, the FOBS are traveling south.  They orbit around the South Pole and begin their trek northward from there.

The United States does NOT have **ANY** long-distance, early warning radar facing south.  None.

We wouldn’t know these FOBS were on the way until they came up over the Gulf of Mexico and starting detonating from South-to-North, destroying our entire country.

Remember, each of these Satan-2 missiles can carry 24 hypersonic nuclear warhead glide vehicles.  Remember too, Russia will be “testing” three of them.   Do the math:  Three missiles with 24 hypersonic warheads each totals 72 nuclear warheads.

That’s enough to destroy EVERY major city (Population over 1 Million) in the Untied States, as well as EVERY MAJOR military base (the bases that matter) in the country.  In one fell swoop.

We wouldn’t even know we were being attacked until our cities started blowing up.
